Evidence (research results, evaluation results, endogenous beliefs and knowledge, citizen opinions, and statistical data<\/em>) is essential to help policymakers and practitioners make informed decisions and implement appropriate actions, especially in sensitive development areas such as food and nutrition security. Unfortunately, evidence use among policymakers and practitioners such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is still limited. One prominent reason is the technical constraints of accessing, collecting, understanding, and using evidence.<\/p>\n ACED, in partnership with 3ie<\/a> and with the support of USAID and Save the Children, is implementing an initiative focused on NGOs that implement programmes and projects on food and nutrition security.
