About the Digital Economy Cluster
The Digital Economy Cluster aims to promote equitable economic growth facilitated by digital technology. ACED recognizes the transformative power of digital technologies to improve economic opportunities and the lives of African citizens.
About the Position
The Digital Economy Specialist will support ACED in the following areas:
- Developing the Digital Economy Cluster (60%)
- Resource mobilization (25%)
- Knowledge valorization and dissemination (15%)
Qualifications
- At least a university degree in economics, computer science, project management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of significant experience in the design and implementation of digital economy-related projects in an African context.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem (actors, challenges, opportunities, policy and regulatory framework, etc.) and its links with development sectors in West African countries.
- Proven knowledge of current technological trends, including artificial intelligence.
- Relevant experience in project management, data analysis, and communication.
